I am a busy mom of three children with a background in education, nutrition, health and fitness. I am a nutrition and wellness coach.

Relearning how to walk made me realize that I had needed HELP for a long time.

It was late winter 2019, one of the season's iciest, nastiest, coldest days, and I was at my lowest point. Parked in my car holding my cane, I was staring at my handicap permit, mentally plotting how to get myself from my car into the pharmacy without wiping out on the slick, snowy pavement.

And then a question I had been avoiding hit me: “Are you ok?” The question came from my own mind.

After a moment of brutally honest reflection, the answer was NO.

It was the first time in a long time that I heard a kind and caring thought spring forth from within me. It sounded like I actually cared about myself.
